LifeLine Animal Project announced on March 2 that it will host the first community-wide Super Adopt-a-Thon in Alpharetta from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 15 at Union Hill Park. The event will feature approximately 150 dogs available for adoption at no cost.

The event aims to connect families and individuals with adoptable dogs while removing financial barriers that may prevent pet ownership. Organizers say all dogs will be microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered—services that would typically cost $250 if obtained privately.

LifeLine Animal Project operates the Fulton County Animal Services shelter under contract and will bring dogs from this location as well as its two other shelters. Dogs of various ages, sizes, and personalities are expected to be present at the event.

The Adopt-a-Thon is scheduled to take place at Union Hill Park, located at 1590 Little Pine Trail in Alpharetta. LifeLine encourages those interested in adopting a dog to attend during the four-hour window on March 15.

By offering these services for free, LifeLine Animal Project hopes to increase adoption rates and reduce the number of animals in local shelters.
