80.8% of Cleburne County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 24,848 citizens living in Cleburne County in 2021, 80.8% were old enough to vote, equating to 20,073 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 9,977 were male, constituting 49.7%, and 10,096 were female, making up 50.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Cleburne County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 76.5%.
