Leaders in Independence County are working to address the nationwide teacher shortage. Join us on Thursday, March 30, at 5:30 at the Batesville Community Center for an event designed to help highly-motivated adults learn the appropriate pathway to "be a teacher."
Learn how to enter a profession that truly makes a difference in students' lives, explore pathways to licensure, and better understand the public school hiring process and timeline.
School leaders, licensure experts from the Arkansas Department of Education DESE, the area educational cooperative, and Colleges and Universities, will provide information to those interested in "being a teacher."
