Census Bureau: 79 percent of people in Salem City were old enough to vote in 2020

Of the 1,532 citizens living in Salem City in 2020, 1,210 were old enough to vote as of March 24, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 694 of those people were female and 516 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
