HEBER SPRINGS AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Reminders about the Cleburne County Fair

Please consider volunteering for this community event!

Just a few quick reminders for the Cleburne County Fair coming up September 6th through 10th. We are so excited to get this fair underway!

Make plans to attend clean up Day Thursday September 1st from 4pm until 9pm to help get those animal cages and barns show ready! Bring your own tools and there will be some shavings available from Tractor Supply. The County Judge has delivered shavings to use in the show rings, so don't forget to pitch in and help dress the show rings in each barn. If you finish your show pen prep, reach out to an Ag teacher or FFA leader to volunteer to help with other projects that day. Pens must be cleaned in order to be marked!

Entries are now open at our website www.cleburnecofair.com and will run to the deadline of August 30th at midnight. Remember, changes can easily be made to any entry during the fair but each exhibitor must be entered by August 30th to show.

Remind your friends and neighbors the fair is quickly approaching! Tell them about our Facebook page and our website and urge them to check out the Departments in case they have art work, crafts or other entries that are available for exhibition! Remember our fair is what we all contribute to make it!

A special thank you goes out to Concord FFA and the Cattlemen's Association who worked in conjunction this week to give the barns some much needed attention.

Volunteers are still needed for all aspects of the fair including gate house attendance, hanging decorations in the barns for the kids, concession stand help, office help, grounds keeping, and light maintenance chores. If you'd like to become a part of the Cleburne County Fair family, simply message us here or email us at cleburnecofair@gmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
