City of Fairfield Bay issued the following announcement on May 25.
Much work has been put into the beautification of Ed Leamon park in Fairfield Bay, from the Van Buren County Master Gardeners to many artists in the area showing off their fabulaous work. The Park is visited by so many people whether from Fairfield Bay, visitors from Wyndham or from other areas of the region.
It's a shame that a few individuals take it upon themselves to destroy other peoples work of art just for fun. The city of Fairfield Bay is not taking this lightly and will be taking steps to ensure that the persons responsible are found and criminal action is taken. Other measures will be taken to capture images of any future vandalism being committed.
