Welding
Welding adjunct faculty are needed for the following:
· Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)
· Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)
Minimum qualifications are an associate degree in welding and/or professional, achievement-based certification or licensure in the course content being taught, or 5-years tested experience in the teaching field. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, experience teaching, and experience with Blackboard.
Adjunct faculty are responsible for preparing and presenting lectures, writing and grading exams, meeting with students as needed, and assigning grades. The Welding courses are each four credit hours and the payment is $2100 per course.
Computer Information Systems
CIS adjunct faculty are needed for the following courses:
Introduction to Digital Media, online
Digital Photography/Photoshop, online
Typographic Illustration, online
Digital Design, online
Computer Essentials, online and seated
The successful applicant will have experience teaching online courses. Minimum qualifications are a Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in computer science or a closely related discipline. Preferred qualifications include experience teaching for a community college and experience with Blackboard.
Adjunct faculty are responsible for preparing and presenting lectures, writing and grading exams, meeting with students as needed, and assigning grades. The CIS courses are each three credit hours and the payment is $1575 per course.
