Cherokee Village recently issued the following announcement.
In an effort to assist our residents with household cleanup and to curb illegal dumping, the City of Cherokee village would like to announce its third “Annual Autumn Curbside Cleanup” scheduled to November 15, 16, and 17th by APPOINTMENT ONLY.
Scheduling pickups will begin on Monday the 18th of October.
Eligible items include appliances (hot water heaters, stoves, dishwashers, washers, & dryers) and eligible bulky waste (sofas, chairs, mattresses and box springs).
No items that used Freon (even if Freon was removed), tires, paint, construction debris, commercial debris, or household trash will be accepted.
All residents wanting curbside removal of household items MUST CALL AND SCHEDULE curbside pickup by calling Planning and Zoning at 257-5522, by Friday the 12th of November at 4:00 p.m.
The items are NOT to be put out to the curbside any earlier than Saturday the 13th of November 2021.
