CENTRAL ARKANSAS: UCA CCED Hosts 2021 Arkansas Racial Equity Summit

Central Arkansas issued the following announcement on Oct. 7.

UCA is hosting its 2nd annual Arkansas Racial Equity Summit — a discussion over the history of racial injustice in the state, the need to elevate Black voices, and best practices for diversity, equity and inclusion in organizations and communities.

The University of Central Arkansas Center for Community and Economic Development (CCED) will host the second annual 2021 Arkansas Racial Equity Summit on Tuesday, Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in McCastlain Ballroom on the campus of UCA.

The 2021 summit will feature topics such as the history of racial injustice in Arkansas, elevating Black voices and best practices for diversity, equity and inclusion in organizations and communities.
