Cotter Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 2.
The Cotter Ruthven Rainbow Bridge will be lit once again! Remember back in 1997-2002 and 2004-2010 when our beautiful bridge was lit? On July 29th, 2021, members of our community opened their hearts and checkbooks to help raise funds to re-light our bridge.
A very special and warm thanks goes to our extremely generous legacy donors, Peter and Jan Peitz. We are delighted to announce that the bridge lights will be known as "The Peitz River Lights."
Mark your calendar for the big reveal in December. You won't be disappointed!
Progress reports on "Light the Bridge" will be provided on the Cotter-Gassville Chamber of Commerce Facebook page (click on the Facebook Icon at the top right of this page to quickly go there) and at monthly Cotter City Council meetings.
