City of Cave City issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
Beginning Friday, 8/27/2021, crews from Atlas Asphalt, Inc. and Arkansas State Highway & Transportation Department will begin working in our city limits to start a street widening and overlay project. This particular project includes Union, Blackstone, Charleston, and East South streets, and will span several weeks, with some of the work being intermittent during the week. (The project could be expanded if time and funding allow.)
Please watch out for these men and women as they work. We want everyone to be as safe as possible. Thanks for your patience during this upcoming progress!
