City of Cave City issued the following announcement on Aug. 12.
The Cave City Police Department is currently taking applications for a full-time police officer. Certified and uncertified persons can apply. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and be able to pass a background check, physical, and psychological evaluation. Applicants must also be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Applications can be picked up at city hall, or at www.cavecity.us in the “resources” section. Applications will be taken until the position is filled.
