Cleburne County ranked sixth in Arkansas for resident earnings in 2018

Cleburne County ranked sixth among counties in Arkansas by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Cleburne County residents was $24,248 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 10,731 households with a population of 25,230.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Benton County with $32,305 per year after adjusting for inflation – $8,057 more than Cleburne County. It had 94,333 households with a population of 258,980.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was St. Francis County with $19,056 per year after adjusting for inflation – $5,192 less than Cleburne County. It had 9,319 households with a population of 26,294.
