The Izard County Sheriff’s Office released its weekly incarceration report on March 30, listing individuals arrested and booked into custody over the past week. Sheriff Charley Melton said all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
Jessie Brem, age 37 of Mountain View, was arrested on March 23 on a warrant from the Izard County District Court for failure to pay fines. Lisa Cooper, age 60 of Batesville, was taken into custody the same day for driving while intoxicated (DWI), refusal to submit to a chemical test, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Briauna Moses-Soehlman, age 29 of Batesville, was arrested on March 25 for parole violations.
Other arrests included Hector Villanueva, age 27 of Horseshoe Bend, who was detained on March 27 for domestic battery in the third degree and possession of a controlled substance. Trace Cossey, age 29 of Oxford, was arrested on March 28 also for domestic battery in the third degree. Wyatt Means, age 24 of Salem, was taken into custody on March 29 pending formal charges related to a DWI accident and theft of property.
