Employers in NC Arkansas News publication area filed 12 H-1B petitions throughout 2024

Employers based in the NC Arkansas News publication area submitted 12 H-1B petitions during 2024, according to data provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services via the H-1B Employer Data Hub. Of these, 11 were approved (91.7%), while one was denied (8.3%).

Employers are classified under industries based on their reported operations and may be involved in multiple industries.

The H-1B visa program allows U.S. employers to temporarily hire foreign workers in specialty occupations requiring specialized knowledge and at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Meanwhile, the Educational Services industry was the second largest contributor, filing two petitions (16.7% of the total), with an approval rate of 100%.

The NC Arkansas News publication area employers with the most petitions during 2024 included Baxter County Regional Hospital, Inc., which filed four petitions with an approval rate of 100%, White River Health System, Inc. with three petitions and an approval rate of 100%, and Lyon College, which filed two petitions with an approval rate of 100%.

Compared to 2023, the NC Arkansas News publication area saw a 140% increase in the number of H-1B petitions during 2024.
