Early voting begins for May 19 primary in Fulton County

Advance voting for the General Primary and Nonpartisan Election is now underway in Fulton County, with early voting available from Monday, April 27 through Friday, May 15.

The county reports that voters have multiple options to cast their ballots early. Absentee by mail ballots can be submitted at Advance Voting locations via on-site drop boxes, registrar’s offices at each facility, or directly to Advance Voting Poll Management staff during designated hours.

A variety of locations are open for advance voting across the county. These include libraries such as Adams Park Library in Atlanta and Alpharetta Branch Library, recreation centers like C.T. Martin Natatorium and Recreation Center, community centers including Etris Darnell Community Center in Union City, and other facilities such as the Elections Hub and Operations Center. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays (May 2 and May 9) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday (May 3) from noon until 5 p.m.; there will be no voting on Sunday, May 10 due to Mother’s Day.

Fulton County manages its finances through the treasurer’s office by investing funds and distributing revenues to various entities according to the official website. The county also promotes community well-being by hosting events like the annual Fulton County Fair and supports resilience through emergency education according to the official website.
